Would like to know how the handle feels. Does it have a hard/solid texture or is there a little bit of “give” when held firmly (ie softer surface). Thank you.

the green or orange is the rubber, the black is the plastic. plastic has no give to it. the rubber parts have very little to almost no give. almost as if not rubber, but.......a teeny tiny amount cause it is rubber. its an overall comfortable knife.

Thanks, I was wondering if the rubbery part may be prone to wearing away with hard use. It’s a beautiful knife.

I wouldn't say so. mine hasn't so far. I've used it pretty good last year or two or so....maybe after 30 years.....dont know yet.

I should clarify i only have the large versions, but the size shouldn't make any difference to your questions.
