Push Cut

I have some very sharp knives, but I have never tried to get a push cut before. Finally, I seem to gotten the combination. I normally sharpen my EDC knives to about a 1200 grit and strop them with green compound. I found out that if I strop on black, then green, I can get a push cut on notebook paper. I got the same results on a brand new Mora, a Spyderco that was several years old but had never been sharpened and a Byrd that's at least 10 years old and has been sharpened many times. I make my own strops, so it's easier for me to experiment.
