Hello, everyone. I found a good deal on a Cold Steel Push Dagger that I want to add to my collection & maybe take to Europe with me (Czechia & other knife-friendly places). If I get it & HAVE it in New York, is that an issue? Supposing I had it in my luggage & was trying to get it as checked baggage for traveling? Hos does one even do that without getting into all kinds of "Oh my God- he was trying to get the weapon past security!" type of things?
Knife laws are total bullshit- it's a question of what you DO with them that would be the issue & if there's at least an easy presumption that someone has a blade on them, it hedges against attacks. So many times, cops outright murder someone with a firearm & kill bystanders when they shoot, but a person with a dagger on them is a "bad guy" & a "menace"? Nonsense! I've carried a knife on me for years & didn't go on a stabbing spree- if someone did, I could at least make an easier attempt against them where I'm not going to be as likely to get mangled-up or killed. Same with a shooting spree. I'm betting none of these people had guns, of course- but not even knives to rush them with?
