This one's about to be shipped. It was my first push dagger and was a special order from a customer...hope he likes it. It's 6 1/8" OAL and 4 3/4" from scale edge to tip. ATS-34 steel, mosaic pins, filework, mesquite scales. Thanks for lookin and hope all have a great 2004.

Push daggers are not legal where I come from, but that doesn't mean that I can't appreciate a nice when I see it. Nicely done.

Love that file-work on the back. Is this usually done on push-daggers of the custom variety? I haven't seen too many push-daggers, so.

It's a shame that we don't see very many push daggers ! :(

Love'em !

Love this one ! Beautiful work ! ! !

Thanks for the encouragement! This was a fun one to build. I anticipated messin up the grind, so I cut 2 out while I was at it. Surprisingly, both turned out pretty good. Just have to put some handles on the other one now. Cheers!

I was lucky enough to handle one of those push daggers at Phil's shop. The filework looks even more amazing in person. In fact, the filework on all Phil's knives (that I've seen) is outstanding!

I was also impressed with just how comfortable the push dagger's grip turned out to be. I like push daggers, but ergonomics is not usually their strong point. This one breaks the trend.

First time in this forum, but that is an incredible piece of work! Love that design in the handle!

I love the knife, with only one suggestion. Is it too late to knock the edges off the handle slabs? As comfortable as the handle may be, it looks like those corners are a little sharp still.

Don't throw anything at me; I still love the knife! :)

Very nice knife! The filework, the wood, the pin decoration and the shape of the blade all come togheter very well.
I am very fond of push daggers and used one for years in my backpocket.

Thats a lovely push dagger, great work.
Am a big fan of push knives as a combative tool, one of my favourite defensive/fighting type knives - this one looks great from that perspective too. Swell work :)

very nice! well done. Nice even grinds.

I agree with danbo--the handle looks sharp, somewhat unfinished. Is that how you prefer it to look?

Otheerwise its awesome!

I appreciate all the kind remarks. Thanks! Concerning the handle sharpness, I wanted to leave a substancial surface on the heel, but maybe it would have been better to roll the edges a bit more. I did on the second one. Thanks for the observation and being willing to say what you think!
