Push knives in a space craft and other foolishness

If you've seen Cold Steel's latest catalogue you know that the cover displays push knives inside a space craft in orbit. Before you think too carefully about such a concept (from either a marketing perspective or otherwise) read this paragraph from page 2:

Like our other stainless steels, AUS 10A is a high carbon variety. It is equal in strength and toughness to AUS 8A but has the extraordinary advantage of an additional 20% in edge holding ability. This gives it a wide performance advantage over other steels like ATS-34, ATS-55, and 440V.

Now this dog may or may not have nice teeth, but shouldn't somebody put a leash on his bark?

The AUS10A on my Stainless Steel Native works really well.
But better than 440V?
That is a tad ridiculous.
They won't send me a catalog sooo...
Does Lynn give any evidence of this aside from the laughable "Proof" video? I say laughable because I saw no head to head testing of Carbon V or AUS8A against the other steels that he claims are inferior to his pet steels. This is the ONLY way to prove one steel is superior to another IMO.
Now, don't get me wrong, I love Carbon V knives but Mr. Thompson's Ad campaign leaves me wishing he would find a new way to push his wares.
I'm glad to see that CS is adopting 10A as it is better than 8A, but if he's gonna make these claims, he needs to get some other blades and test them head-to-head.
OK Lynn, let's see some real "Proof"!

OH GOOD LORD!!! I just took a look at that crap on the web site, and it sickens me. He compares AUS-6 to ATS-34 and 440C, saying that it is tougher, and I think he said it holds an edge as well. And then, he has that picture of him with his new Bull Mastiff, which is being groomed as a protection dog. GEEZ! Yeah, sure, it will make a great protection dog, but it would have made a great pet... oh nevermind....

I HATE to see a good dog go to a bad ... oh nevermind, I'm just rambling!@!@!!!

Does Lynn sell knives? You bet your a$$ he does. So what is the problem? Aside from the fact that it will shortly be illegal to own a non metallic knife in Ca. because of his antics, er advertising stratagy.

Lets see here...Aus 10, Aus 8.....8....10....by golly, he's right! It IS 20% stronger!

A push dagger could be used effectively in space; craft have typically been small (meaning that one can brace against the opposite wall), and the reaction law will actually work to one's benefit.

As ugly as knife fights are on terra firma, a knife fight in zero gees would have a special horror, as blood wouldn't spill to the ground but, rather, would float about. A cauterizing weapon might be a better choice.

I had the same reaction to the idea of the protection dog as did Outlaw_Dogboy. But, if I'm not mistaken, Lynn was raised as a protection boy -- this explains a lot -- and is showing love as he knows it.
