I really want to EDC my 110, but the idea of strapping on a belt just to do it
turns me off.
So, I want to pick your brains.
This is what I'm thinking of:
- horiz carry where the belt should be
- either uses the belt loops or an inside the waist band spring type mech to secure it
- absolute minimal materials used (preferably leather)
- bonus points for 1 piece design
- can be end or top opening
- simple closure (velcro) or no closure (tension fit)
It doesn't even need to have a traditional sheath look.
I have some ideas in my head for certain aspects of it, but not a way to integrate all the features together.
Let's brainstorm the heck out of this.
Thanks folks,
Lenny

There are lots of professional sheath makers out there with innovative solutions to pack a 110. Actually, I like Buck's nylon sheath; it's more compact than the leather one (which I also prize for its traditional look), and has straps for horizontal carry.

Find a good Kydex sheath maker, they could incorporate a belt/trouser clip on the back side of a clamshell sheath, but then what's going to hold your pants up from the weight of the knife?

Here is a picture of some sheaths I have for the 110. The one on the top is for a 112. The black one below it is a one hand opening sheath that has many names. The one below it is a open sheath that is a vertical carry. The one on the right is a pancake sheath that fits very close to the side of the body.
