ok,before i dog into repairs i wanna make sure....
are the buck 311 trappers put together with pins like most older knives?
are they the pins you cut off,or drive thru with a punch?...also,what will buck knives
replace,or repair under the warranty?

i have a couple with weak springs, and some with broken blades....
are either of those under warranty?

thank you for your help,
jd

The 311 Trapper was a Camillus manufactured contract knife that was last in the Buck catalog 1990. It was thru pinned. To my knowledge there are no parts available for the 311. Warranty for an unrepairable knife would be an offer to buy a new knife at 50% discount. I'm not sure broken blades are a warranty item, blade replacement charge is $10 for current knives.

Best would to be call Buck customer service
Warranty: (800) 215-2825 ext. 2
Warranty Inquiries: warranty@buckknives.com

As DeSotoSky stated above, a call to Buck is your best bet. I don't see how a broken blade could be considered a warranty issue? Springs might be but they do weaken with repeated use. If they still hold the blades closed and open I don't believe a weak pull is that much of an issue on a slipjoint but Buck may see it differently.
