Looking to slim down my grip a bit and came across the awt and putman scales. I’ve never had aluminum scales but love all my other G10 scales. So interested in some feedback on the putman scales.

Agreed to this completely, and they sure do look nice. Mine didn’t last long before I took them off .The AWT scales are for looking, not for ergonomics. They are blocky and the edges make the knife uncomfortable in the hand for extended use. I had a pair but sold them quickly. Their built quality is good though.
See those i like because they are not fat (contoured) who makes those?Me too...

They only make contoured CF.Have you considered the Flytanium titanium scales? They’re really nice.
That’s what the Flytanium website shows, but there are still titanium versions floating around at retailers. I just checked and found three retailers with stock. They only make contoured CF.

those are nice but seem just as bulky as the original ones.IMO the best Griptilian scales are made by Deathgripscales. Huge variety of materials and texture, Ryan will customize it any way you want. Price is comparable to Flytanium if not better
