Putting a clip on the old Wave

I love my Wave but I work at a grocery store (Asst. Manager) and I can't carry a sheath on my belt (doesn't go well with shirt and tie). I often carry a clip knife and maybe a juice in my pocket but sometimes repairs in the store call for more than juice, plus I don't like the way it rides in my pocket. So I have decided to try putting a clip on the wave, I know....The new wave and charge have clips but until christmas and if I can scrap up the money I don't have one. This is my attempt at it, the downfall is you have to torq the threads tight enough so the clip won't move and the pliers still open smoothly, this of course renders 2 exterior blades from being used. I chose the serrated and saw because I don't usually use a saw and the serrated I can copensate by carring my Sypderco Calypso (much better). So here it is....anyone have any ideas on how to better attach this and still have the impliments free to move without buying a new tool?
