Has anyone put a pocket clip on an Outrider? I would really like an Outrider for woods carry but it seems a bit big for loose pocket carry. A pocket clip would be ideal, unless there is a better way. I would like to avoid a belt sheath, simply so it does not interfere with my packs hipbelt. Any help is appreciated.

I put one on a One Handed Trekker. Got the stuff I needed from knifekits. They have a drill and tap set, screws and clips. Basically I drilled through the scale into the aluminum liners and tapped the liners. It held up but it's not the sturdiest implementation. If I could do it again, I'd probably pop the scales off and epoxy an aluminum plate inside the scale and then drill/tap that.

Easiest way would be to buy the 111mm scales with the pocket clip on them and just swap the scales. Takes about 4 minutes and looks like it came from the factory that way.

I put a Clipdraw on my SOG PowerAssist. Use the universal semiautomatic model, it'll work just fine and has everything you need in the kit, no extra tools needed at all.
