Call me silly, but stainless steel handles have always seemed a little slippery when wet. I really like the blade profile and frame lock design, but I suspect that it will be too slippery in the field (Army field, not hunting field).
If so, could I make and attach G10 or Micarta scales, effectively turning it into a linerlock with very thick liners? If so, what would I use to attach the scales to the knife and where could I acquire the necessary tools and/or supplies? I have access to a basement chop and a willingness to do it.
Comments, ideas or derisions?
