Putting Tiger Stripes On 0300 Blade

Has anyone here ever done it? I bought the 0300 because I couldn't find a 0303
but prefer the tiger stripes. I was thinking of using gel paint remover in the correct
pattern, then just rinsing the blade with warm water. Recommendations
appreciated...:)
 
You could maybe try using etchant from radio-shack. Not sure if it will go through the coating though. Might need to be bare metal. Or you could see if someone could bead-blast the stripes on for you.
 
Pretty sure paint remover won't work. I tried the gel stuff on a protech tr3 with dlc coating. Left it on there for a couple hours and it didn't do a thing. I ended up sanding it all off which was a big pain and will never do again. That DLC is some tuff stuff. The paint remover will work on the black painted blades like the coating cold steel uses and the coating that Busse uses.

I would send it to a pimper with a sandblasting cabinet and get them to do it. I also prefer the strider look (3 or 4 and they are angled differently) over the ZT's s style
