Hello guys , I'll show you a puukko that I finished recently. It has a saber grind and small secondary bevel. This time I used inox for the bolster and the cap. The tang is peened to the butcap. The pattern on the handle is also a bit different than usual - I arranged the grain of the bark pieces like this - two crosswise and one lenghtwise to the width of the handle.

Steel - Elmax 60-61 HRC.
OAL - 245 mm (~9.6").
Blade - 122Х22Х3.8mm (~4.8x0.9x0.15") flat grind with secondary bevel
Blade finish - p 800.
Handle - Birch bark and inox.
Weight with/without sheath - 116/167 grams.
Leather sheath with wooden inlay.

I like the birch bark.
Is there glue between the layers of bark or is it pressure only?

Thanks guys

Hengelo - there is no glue. The birch bark is full of resins. When it's stacked on the tang it is heated to around 80C (175F) , then it's pressed and the resin sticks everything together.
