Tried my hand at making a neck knife sheath for a 4" blade knife from PVC pipe. This is my first try with this method and material and it turned out pretty good I think. I used my heat gun to soften the PVC for flattening/shaping. I used a cutting wheel on the Dremel to cut the PVC basic shape. It took a bit of trial and error to get the shape correct for the strong knife retention a neck knife needs but in the end I got it so it snaps in firmly and very secure. I applied a Green and black rattle can finish. I might try a larger project and make a PVC sheath for one of my machetes next.

How easy is it to draw? Does it slip out of the sheath when upside down?

Thx it looks nice

As I stated above.... It took a bit of trial and error to get the shape correct for the strong knife retention a neck knife needs but in the end I got it so it snaps in firmly and very secure. You can not shake it out, you can run with it and it stays put. But when you wish to draw the knife it comes out smoothly with a quick pull.
