PVC Pipe Below the Knee Prosthetic Leg

I've read stories of how amputees in Third World countries have had their lives changed when things like a wooden trike/bike/wheel chair peddled by hand were given to amputees..as I recall a church or other faith-based group saw the needs and built and distributes the device at no charge.

No mobility in the jungle consigns a person to a not so great life.

Wish I could find pix- looked like a sturdy wooden chair with wooden wheels and a sprocket and pedals mounted high in front of the person...wooden hand powered ATV.

PVC limbs could do a lot..good for the BYU folks.

Those BYU guys hit a home run. I love it when young men and women get creative like that. Great Job!!
