I want to hear what you have come up with for this so easy to work with and versatile material.

I have built a Roof Rack for my Jeep that rivals the $300 ones. I wish I had a camera, but GHEN can vouch for it's Coolness rating.

Last year for christmas I bought several bags of elbows and connectors and cut the pipe to different lengths for my kids. Tinker toys if you will. They are always building stuff out of them, When I can get them to stop swing the pipe at eachother.

Nect I want to build a camp table that will fit in my Roof Rack with removable legs..easy enough.

How about you? What have you built.

Well, the most useful item I've made out of PVC recently has been a brass catcher for when I'm at the range. Basically, it looks like a field goal post, with the boxy Y arms that I can slip the mesh bag I made over it. This works great for my guns that eject cases to the side. I'm working on an improved design, for use with things like my 1911's, which generally tend to launch brass at a higher angle.

I make fly rod cases as well. Burglers broke into our place and stole everything except my best fly rods which were in these non-descript pipes in the back. The less finished they look the better!

I was told one time by some militia-type guy that if you bury your guns in upright PVC tubes they can't be detected by satellite. I'm not that into it, but I guess it might be worth looking into if your one of the folks that's into TEOTWAWKI-type scenarios.
