guys my "Glass" finally broke on my platen it has been on and faithfull for many years now.i am having a hard time finding any place "Local"
anyone got a good place to get some from ?? links greatly appreciated..

Down here in Portland is Culver Glass. They have fireplace ceramic glass. It's a Commercial Glass shop. They sold me 6 pieces. Maybe find a commercial glass shop up there? If you're in Portland anytime let me know and I'll help you out. I have 2"x8" and 2"x9".

I've had a piece of ceramic tile on mine for the last two years. Cut it to fit exactly the belt width back when I was remodeling my bathroom.

Hey matt, i just use 1/4" glass. i have a local glass place cut me 20 or so to size and i just replace them when they get a dip. super cheap and easy to do.

yea i know this piece of glass was on my grinder for 5-8 years..never developed a "Dip" i called Gene he is getting me 2 more i just gotanother today from a local glass company if you can get Pyroceram glass do it it is waay better than ordinary glass
