Pyrometer recommendations?

My PID on my kiln reads less than the actual temp. I made a graph with my oven thermometer up to 550, then at the Curie point of 1414. The relationship proved to be more-or-less linear, but I'd still like to test with a pyrometer because I want to be more precise than "more-or-less". Anyone got one they can recommend? I'm perfectly willing to buy if the price is reasonable. However, I suppose since I only need it once it makes more sense to borrow one, and if anybody has one they'd loan I'd appreciate it.

Every 50 degrees up to 550 I used an oven thermometer, then played with the controls for about an hour until I was reasonably certain I was within 10 degrees of the Curie point as revealed by my magnet. Before that I trusted the readout but noticed excessive grain growth that made me suspect overheating. Turns out it was over by 50-75 degrees. I'd like to be more precise, of course.
