Q about a Q

I just got a NIB Q.It does not have the flat handles like the ones I have seen.Seems like the handles are thicker and they are raised toward the center.I think I saw somewhere a while back that these were rare.Anybody know anything about it?
 
the Q is still around? i've been trying to hunt one down! is it possible to post some pics up? i'm highly interested in it, but have no idea where to look. maybe you can help me out! thanx!

You have an earlier production handle. There were actually 2 "fat" handles. One says "Spyderco" in the middle and older one doesn't say anything on it. Hope this helps.
