Q-Ball users?

Just curious if anyone out there has been putting their Q-Ball through the paces, and wants to report in. I'm mainly curious how the lock is breaking in, and if the one-handed opening issues are going away after a break-in period. Was pretty fired up about this one, but haven't been hearing much since it's been released...
