Q: Benchmade field sharpener

The Benchmade product appears to be the same as the Work Sharp field sharpener except that it has a finer grit stone vs the Work Sharp’s? - 320 vs 200. Is that correct?
Is the finer grit difference worth the higher price for Benchmade vs Work Sharp?
 
I guess it depends on what you are looking to do with it. Its a designed field sharpener so getting a super refined edge is probably not what most people are after in a pocketable sharpening tool. That and the ceramic rod might be good enough to do higher grit honing depending on the steel.

If you are looking for an all in one sharpening solution to take something from dull and chipped to sharp Id probably look elsewhere but if just something to throw an edge back on a knife out in the woods id opt for the Worksharp version as its cheaper and the difference between 320 and 200 grit diamond is probably not going to be that noticeable.
