Can anyone tell me how many different variations of the "Q" knife were made. I've seen the spyder, the flag, and even a Heckler and Koch. Are there others and are there any plans to do this with the "R" knife as well.

Gungames magazine advertised one, although there was some question as to whether they ever shipped any.

Boy, I'm pretty sure I can't count that high..there were SO many variations. I've seen skull and crossbones, REI, Blade magazine, several police department logos, and many many more. Knifeslinger here on the forums has quite a few unique ones, I'm sure he can enlighten us.

Danelle,
Your reply would lead me to believe they can be custom ordered. If that is so, is it still possible to do so, what's the minimum quantity and an approx. price?

Spyderco had done quite a bit of customization of "Q"'s in the past, and it was a popular program. However that program is not going on any longer, as the "Q"'s are being phased out. There are still a lot floating around, but they won't be produced any longer.
There hasn't been a determination yet on customization on the "R"s, as far as I know.

Another "Q"uestion about the "Q", how many different handel style are there?? The plain edge "bug" version I've got and the "hk" version I've got are little different, the bug version's handle is little thicker than the hk version. Are they made differently?? or just because different production time?? Thanks for any info!!

There were two "Q" handle molds. (one crashed). The later handle was the thinner one.
