I carried a "Q" back in the late 90s. Mine had a fully serrated edge, cut very well, and disappeared in my pocket. I still have it though I have not carried it since October 1999.
That model and the Bifold (I think?) are two of the most unique models they have ever done. Amusingly the Bifold was determined to be restricted under the FSA, in truth the only dangerous part about it was trying to open or use the thing.
All of the "Q" models I owned had 440C blade steel and 2 of mine had Spyderedges while one had a plain edge. All of mine were the Spyder & web blade but there are a lot of different types of blades that were made for the Q model. Myself I always liked the original, skeletonized "R" model better than I did the "Q" but they were both good knives to EDC.
Like Sal said they are a very interesting part of Spyderco history and there is some very interesting information on them in the old "Spyderco Story" book written by Kenneth Delavigne which unfortunately is now out of print. That book was made available by Paladin Press and sometimes that book does show up for sale in various forums and Ebay.
