Sal,

I have a question that might be of some interest to more people. Concerning the MBC mission of Lil'T there is the following point:

-if the compression lock fails for some reason - is that true that the lock stays fixed as I read in some thread?

-if the lock breaks - probably the pins would go first before the fatal closing?

I bother because I am used now to the Native which has a choil which brings additional security (at least the fealing of security). Lil'T has no ricasso (or it has a small one hidden in handle?). So, I am asking about a possibility of a fatal failure, say by stabbing and hiting something hard.

'if one keeps Lil'T in a firm grip - does it reduces significantly the possibility of an injury in the case ...

I'm not sure about the questions you asked. But it would be almost impossible to break the lock on this knife with your own body weight or force. It takes 200#'s/inch of blade to break the lock on MBC rated knives. So do you really think you will be aplying 600 pounds of pressure on the lock anytime soon?

Hi Franco.

The blade does not stay locked open when the lock breaks.

The lock shears vertically when it breaks. The Compression lock is proving to be a very reliable and strong lock.

By all the odd gods of the galaxy, Franco, what ARE you planning to do with the knife that you need worry about breaking a Li'l Temperance? It must to be one of the strongest and most durable knives of that size ever made.
