I've done some work on my bat'leth. I got it as a poorly finished blank and sanded it to a fine surface and added handles. I'm not entirely happy with it yet, the handles aren't quite even and I'm not sure about the finish, I probably will do a bit more sanding on it but I'm not sure that a mirror polish is very Klingon, I'm also thinking about putting a pseudo-edge on it.




I know it's not the usual for this forum, but it's still a sword... er, like object.

I intend to hang it and it's really heavy, I have this image of it falling down and decapitating someone stuck in my head for some reason.

Besides, a Klingon warrior doesn't sharpen his blade to a razor edge, sharp enough to cut is sharp enough for the likes of his opponent.
