The HI Karambit has potential as one swell carry knife, but IMHO begs for a quick draw stealthy sheath of some kind. Any ideas out there?
I make a leather sheath every once in a while, and would be willing to help someone develop a good design if they have an idea worthwhile. For someone else to produce, I must add... I'm retired, thank you :D
Just a thought

A pouch type like the JKM style but with heavier leather and belt loop would work real good. Also a good welt to keep the blade from cutting through. Its a simple sheath to make. I made one like that for my JKM and like it a lot.

I think a highly structured "pancake" like the originals or later Bianchi would be great...it's too bulky and dangerous to hide or risk mishandling. It's mouth must remain open for resheathing one handed.

In black...definately in black. If you make the prototype, I'll test it for you and then you can offer the design for production. My only charge would be to get one!

What a guy I are, eh?

Brian I don't have a Karambit but if I did I'd want an easy carry, quick draw, sheath as well. Whatever the design I would make it with a reinforced point with two pieces of leather added, one in the front and one on the back. Might not look real hot on a folded sheath but I don't think a folded sheath would be conducive too the Karambit anyway.
And IMO it needs too be made from at least 10-11 ounce leather too be wholly functional and safe. With the added pieces on the point it would really reinforce it and it would also make it more secure in that it would be difficult too pull the sheath past that extra leather.:)

Specifics would be very helpful. Links to other sites? Any ideas from the shoulder holster world?

I just learned a fast, forehand-grip draw technique using the sheath that comes with the HI kerambit:

With sheath worn on right side hip (blade edge facing back), place your pinky through the hole and lift vertically. The kerambit should be dangling drom your finger, blade facing back.

Then, slighly open your fingers and flip your wrist so that the blade edge rotates forward and brings the handle into your grip.

After a bit of practice you can execute this move in one smooth motion. That's it, fast & simple.

Disclaimer: This knife is a sharp and potentially dangerous weapon. If you somehow manage to screw this maneuver up and poke a large hole in your person or someone else's, don't come crying to me.
