So I took a flyer on a cheap knife ( QSP Parrot V2 ) and loved it. It was so much more than I expected and just felt "right". Then I saw the same knife as a BladeHQ exclusive with an S35VN blade ( original was D2 ). Then I took them apart and put all the silver parts together for a nice monochromatic look, and I put the red and black parts together for a really cool look. Now I have the red scales I originally loved with a better blade and a cooler color scheme, and a cool silver knife I'll give to my son.
