QSP Parrot lock not engaging after disassembly and reassembly.

Hi, I'm new to forums. Last night I took apart my QSP Parrot to rit dye the scales a little and when I put it back together, the liner lock would not properly engage most of the time, even though it worked flawlessly before. The only thing I modified was the scale color, so I don't understand why the liner lock would be affected. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

I've had that happen before. Usually it's just that you messed something small up when you reassembled. Possibly you mixed a screw or two up with eachother, maybe things weren't quite seated when you tightened it down, maybe the washers are different sizes and you swapped their correct sides, something like that. I'd take it apart again and take a real close look at all the parts to see if anything got switched up. And also I always clean the lock face of the lockbar and the lock face of the blade tang with a paper towell with a bit of rubbing alcohol on it while you're in there.
