Going out to the desert to ride tomorrow. Does anyone else ride? Where? Photos?

I just got a used 2007 Honda Rancher that is like new. MY wife rides a 2007 Honda Recon.

We have a few toys laying around
If you look at my BF name and my number plate you can guess which one I ride.

I love trail riding and going to the dunes to ride! If anyone knows about Bundy Hill, that's my favorite place to get off road. It's always a great time. The next time I go I'll have to take some pictures, that is if I can manage to stop riding and take my hands off the handle bar long enough to take pictures.

I have not been riding in a long time. Looks like I got to call some friends.

Have a Honda Rancher ES. Lives at my Dads house around the corner at the moment. He uses it to check pasture fences everyday. He needs it more than I do so I dont ride much but come hunting season I spend a lot of time on it. Great machine. It has hualed it fair share of deer ouy of the woods in both Ohio and Kentucky.

Actually went and looked at a Gator a few days ago. Not sure I am gonna go with that one but something with a bed is on my list before next season. It will make it much easier to take the kids hunting I think.

I have a little 2007 Actic Cat 250 that is a lot of fun. I would love to get a Gator, but I don't have Garth's money.:p

I have a polaris 700hd 4wd. I use it on the ranch all the time its great to haul tools in to fix fence or whatever. I also use it to cart guns and ammo for cowboy action matches. I really like the different tools and racks you can add with the modular bed, it will haul a lot of weight with no problem. I've moved a flatbed with 4 round bales on it with no problem. Wouldn't want to go uphill or very far with that much weight but it did it. Pretty easy to run 50mph down the street to the neighbors too, and I've used it to haul neighbors out of the ditch in snow and ice.

I've got a Honda Rancher as well. Use it mostly during hunting season.
I've been considering a side by side to haul more stuff....including grandkids. I think I would get more use out of it.

I drive a 2011 Yamaha Grisly 550 and it handles the chores well around here, no problem hauling half a bush cord of white birch on the trailer. I some ways I would like a side by side for the riding comfort, but the regular ATV is still more nimble and makes tighter turns making it more versatile in the rugged lands and bush we have, also less likely to get hung up on rocks and stumps.

I guess I don't have many pictures in the photobucket. But this is my 2012 Suzuki Kingquad 400. I use it around the house to plow snow and haul materials around the yard. But one of my favorite things to do is explore all the logging roads and hunting trails around here. As a matter of fact, I plan on doing some mud riding today. I've also got a 2004 Suzuki Ozark (2wd and 250cc). It doesn't get used too much anymore and I'm really hoping my son starts riding it, but it is one of my favorite rides I own.

Don't hate on the Buck knife, it was just her turn.

I don't know anything about "quads" but I'm still rocking a Honda Big Red 250.....

I had a "BIG RED" many years ago...you must do your own wrenching to keep that going.
I remember coming down a steep mountain logging road and it got squirrely. Made the mistake of putting a leg down to steady it..........back tire ran up my leg and over she went........I jumped clear and the ol' Big Red cartwheeled a hundred yards down that steep incline.....I walked on down and found it leaned up on a tree. It fired right up and off I went .
Bought my first Honda 4x4 soon after.

She runs like a champ! But I'm down to just the E break to stop. many near death occurrences, so I attribute my resilliency to the Big Red!

Yeah it was the "near death" experiences that switched me to a quad. If Honda could have redesigned it to be more like an adult version of a "Big Wheel" that would have been cool.
