Hello Peeps - I am new to the forum, but not new to folding knife collecting. I have been reading around the forum for a few days and have learned a lot.

I am looking for a *really* good quality case/bag to hold my knives. I've seen the ones of Amazon, a number of them well reviewed, but I am having difficulty finding a real QUALITY Folding Knife Bag/Case. Something maybe leather, really well made, TUMI or some Italian made level kind of bag.

Like many of your guys, I have a lot of money invested in my knives, and would like to have a nice, elegant bag or case, not one that cost $15 or $30 -- is there such a thing? If you know of any, your help is most appreciated -- thanks in advance.

Custom Knife Factory sells a somewhat upscale knife pouch. Not quite the scale you're looking for.

I like the boker vault knife pouch for my storage needs. That's not what you're looking for though either.

I had a similar experience looking for knife pouch options. Looks like custom made will be the best/only option.

Thanks guys, I will check it out. Ironically, after I make my post is when I begin to come across some of the type I'm looking for. Seems Etsy has some pretty nice handmade ones

Just ordered the exact one you have. Thanks again, your notes and the pics help a lot too. They also have some watch rolls that are very nice.
That looks nice! Is that the small version or large?

Edit

Oh, I see it's a small. The larger one has 12 slots and rivets.

I bought one too (small), looks like I need to go knife shopping now.

Nice! The one I got is the exact one that Dr. Nedler posted, holds 10. Estimated arrival in 4 days. I'm kind of excited to receive it now, a new home for the knives. I'll post some pics when it gets here

Is it for long term storage or just transporting the knives somewhere for display?

For long term storage, I have used Spyderco SpyderPac knife roll and happy to report that it did get the job done. Personally, I wouldn't want to store my knives in anything leather for long term, which would trap moisture and may cause some of them to rust over time.

I’ve stored them like this for a couple of years with no problems, but I guess you have a point. If it’s a concern you can put a couple of small silica gel bags (like the ones that comes in the box when you buy new shoes or furniture) to absorb moisture.

^^ Thanks for the advise guys. Duly noted.

I have the order for the Leather Roll arriving tomorrow, will post pics.

The new Knife Bag has arrived, it's very nice. See pics below.

The quality is absolutely excellent, especially for the price. It's a bit of a tight fit for the larger knives (for example, the Para 2 or especially the Manix size), but they do go in, and I know the leather will eventually stretch to make it a comfortable "custom fit" for that particular knife. Really very happy with this, and will probably buy some for a small watch collection I have too.

Thank you very much to the forum for the helpful suggestions, and especially to DrNedler DrNedler .

I got mine in today, as you mentioned these are excellent! Very good quality. It's a tad small, but I really like it. The largest knife I squeezed in was a native 5, but I can see you fit larger ones.

Thx for the suggestion DrNedler DrNedler 20200714_175835_copy_2241x3984.jpg 20200714_175916_copy_2241x3984.jpg

For a hard case option, Harbor Freight has the Apache series of cases. Comes w/ pluck & pull foam.
