I'm looking to get a set of tools so I don't have to worry as much about rounding off the tool.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Yeah, wiha is really good, there are some high end german and swiss brands but unless you take your knives apart every day, it's not needed.

Just remember if it's not rounding off your tool your tool is rounding off the screw head under the same circumstances.

Buy "The Blue Box Tool Kit" by Benchmade. The bits in it are adequate for most applications. If you find a bit that seems to be especially tight, heat it before removing it.

I bought a precision driver set from Harbor Freight that has been seemingly Wiha like quality so far. I accidentally tried to take out a T10 screw with the T8 driver and while the screw got pretty badly screwed up, the driver is perfect still. I am astounded at what I got for a mere $6.

I also have a set if wiha hex bits that i use with a screwdriver that accepts them. They're the best for the money in my experience. Just pick up a set off amazon

Wiha or Bondhus. Almost anything else will be imported from Asia and will fail.

Craftsmen makes some really nice torx drivers...I bought some individual sizes, 6, 8, 10 sizes cover most

I have a torx bit kit from Wiha, and I'd recommend it to anyone. I have used cheap namesless bits before that would strip and twist easily.

Quality tool is a good investment.

There is a $7 Husky torx set at Home Depot that is surprisingly good. I have heard some guys say it works as well as their Wiha set. I picked one up recently and torqued down hard on some T7 screws without any problems.

+1 for the husky torx. i didnt even know i had it until i needed it beause it came with a set of hex i bought for cheap a while ago (before my knife addiction). They do the job, only downside is it starts at t9.

The Husky set I've been using is pictured below, in T4-T10,T15 sizes in 4 double-ended bits. Bought it about ~5 years ago, and it's served me very well (I have two of these, actually).
