Hey guys-

I'm building a disaster relief bag and being here in Seattle I thought it would be a good idea to have a quality poncho in there. I can only seem to find cheap crap or rubber duck yellow. I'm looking more for a quality somewhat more neutral colored poncho.

Do you guy know of any decent poncho brands?

I love my US military issue ponchos. Nice woodland camo, they're large enough to cover me and my pack and make great shelter. I carry two of them. They can be had at many of the surplus outlets like Majors surplus or Brigade quartermasters, Sportsmans guide, etc.

I would try Exped. They make the best poncho I have found, as well as a great liner that actually goes over your head along with the poncho, unlike the G.I. version.

I do sell them, but if you want to buy direct, the main U.S. supplier is just south of you in Auburn.

Try Brigade Quartermaster or Ranger Joe's. They have the deluxe Mil-Spec USMC and Army issues for $39.95.
