Quality stores in the Gatlinburg/Piegon Forge area?

Hello all,

I'm going to be driving from Louisville to Piegon Forge for a short getaway in the Smokies. I've been looking for a nice blade for awhile, but there aren't any good knife stores close to where I live. So, I'm hoping I can combine my weekend in the mountains with a knife shopping excursion.

I've found several shops (Smoky Mountain Knife for one) but none carry knives I'm interested in (Benchmades, Emersons, nice Spydercos, you get the idea). So, if anyone knows of quality stores on the way down from Louisville to Pigeon Forge, I'd love a heads up! Thanks guys,

Smoky Mnt Knife Works in Sevierville, just before you enter Pigeon Forge. On your right as you are heading south. Can't miss it.

As for no knife shops in Louisville, http://www.onestopknifeshop.com has a little storefront operation in Louisville. Rumor has it that the store owner also owns bladeforums.

I was under the impression One Stop Knife Shop didn't have a storefront? I called a couple weeks ago and a gentleman told me they were an internet-only company.

I had no idea the owner was Bladeforums operator! I better get over there. Thanks for the heads up

I have been in SMKW a few times (not in the 2 years) and it is a fun place, but most of their display counters are full of more traditional knives (SAK, Buck, Case, etc.) or middle of the road tactical (CRKT, Gerber, Kabar etc.) or just POS junk. Last time I was there they had a few Spydercos but that may have changed....
