Just got a nice new toy from zmbhntr (thanks Ben!) and went on a day trip to a friend's camp site, so I decided to smooth out some crinkle-coat by processing a small amount of wood

Got home and decided to do my first real chopping in at least 6 months (had shoulder surgery Jan. 2 and the doc said I couldn't chop wood for 6 months, I figure I'm close enough ;) ). Took down a small tree in a few minutes.

It chops decently enough, but I haven't chopped in so long I forget what a good chopper should be. I also didn't bring any others to compare. I would have much preferred a convex edge to a V, but the MOABs are V as well. I'll probably email the shop and see if they could convex it for me. Probably going to strip it so I can see the corrugation better.

Nice shots Dan, I agree, the MOABOLO would look great stripped.

You should have brought the Bezerker to compare :)

That beauty looks like she bites hard, and I'm glad that it has a great home! I agree that it would look pretty awesome stripped, and I'm sure that it would chop even better with a convex edge. Thanks for the pics!

Nice MOABOLO !! ;) Good to see it used

Very cool. A guy could hold that CBT MOABolo in one hand and a 40oz beer in the other to start out balanced and sober...

That's so true. The balance would be short lived, but it could be re-achieved over and over again. At the expense of sobriety of course, but that is a price worth paying.

Exactly, just down one, chop til your buzz fades, repeat!
