Dear BF members,
I am looking for a good set of screwdriver or t-handle type tools with phillips, flathead, torx, and allen sizes to take apart various knives for cleaning, tightening, and general maintenance. Ive had a few sets from big box hardware stores that the bits/tips strip out or strip the heads of the fasteners in the knives. Im looking for something that will hold up over time and not too concerned on price.
Thanks for your help in advance,
Jace

Get a set of WIHA torx drivers !! That will do you best. They have other bits also.

Listen to mete, he speaks the truth:thumbup:. Buy a set of Wiha screwdrivers and torx drivers. I like the technicians style, black handles with a red cap that rotates.

Ive been checking out their site. Wow, nice stuff. Thanks again guys. Jace

Plus two for the Wiha black with red end cap. The end cap rotates in your palm when using allowing solid even pressure. I use them for my watches where scratches can be very devastating.

get this... then you can buy replacement bits if/when they wear out or snap which probably won't happen unless you are messing w/ stuck screws. I've replaced several T6's though, fortunately they are extremely cheap.

Can't go wrong with either Wiha or Wera brands - high quality precision tools.

Get a set of screwdrivers with rotating caps and a set of L-keys cuz sometimes only one type works.

I use both and get them from KC Tools.
