Looking for some quality leather gloves for driving, shooting, outdoor use. Live in San Diego so I'm not interested in lined gloves (have a great pair of fleece gloves I use for skiing, hiking, etc anyway).

Anyone have recommendations and more importantly links to stores that carry them. Currently looking at the SMX80 by Hatch.

I like Wells Lamont deerskin unlined gloves. I'm going on two and half years wearing them. I wear them doing all types of outdoor work and they are tough as nails.

Well, I can tell you what's worked well for me in Iraq

For leather gloves, I'm completely sold on Geier's Kangaroo leather gloves...I've found them to be the most sensative, thin and toughest gloves around, whether it's moving thorn-shrubs or concertina or qualifying on the M4/M9 range. I know they're a little expensive, but I've been using a tan pair on several backpacking/camping trips over the past 3 years, and my black pair have been out to the field and several range trips and currently with me in Iraq. They've held up, continue to remain quite supple even after washing/cleaning.

Thanks for the info and links! Which Geier Gloves are you using Rock 6 and K Williams. Looks like Kangaroo Geier comes in driver and roping.

I have both the Kangaroo Ropers (black-for Military use) and a pair of the Driving gloves (in tan-used for camping/backpacking/hiking).
