Quality water filtration bottle?

I'm looking for a quality metal bottle, with the filtration built-in, and changeable.

All the ones I've seen are either plastic with filter, or stainless steel with nothing.

No budget.

Hum...there is only one on the market I'm aware of but I haven't tested it yet.

The ones I've tested are the Sawyer bottles one with the filter and the other with the filter/purifier. Drinking (or sucking) from the filter model isn't bad, using the purifer model about rips you lips off trying to get a drink. But they work. But the bottles are not SS.

I have tested using a 40 oz Nalgene wide mouth and I use the Steri Pen with it. It meets most of your criteria, SS, (not a filter), & Purifier. The nice thing about the Nalgene system is you can boil H20 inside of it and not ruin anything.

Okay, here it is...this has not been tested by myself so I cannot give you a first hand review but Seychelle makes a SS bottle and filter system. Do a Google Search for Seychelle. Dig around in their on-line store and you'll find several variations of their SS bottles and filters.

The Seychelle is exactly what I'm looking for. But I've been google-fuing and have found no testimonials / reviews, backing it's greatness. I'm not really doubting the product, but when noone has said anything about it, it's a bit mysterious. But I'll go ahead with that. Thanks tons for the suggestions. :thumbup:

I cannot atest to it as I stated. But I first learned about it when Michael Janich mentioned it on the Best Defense Survival TV program late this summer/fall. Now, I'm not questioning Michael's credibility but knife fighting and defense is his speciality not survival. Anyway, I'm certain the producers did some sort of Due Diligence on the product before they mentioned it on the program as a reliable resource.

When I saw it, I made myself a note to contact them as a dealer (I'm a reseller) and they set me up as a dealer. I've just never ordered the product to test or try it. I personally test and use all the gear I sell and run it past a team of reviewers.

I have a tester on my team who has an M.A. in Microbiology and this person is one of my reviewers. They have not checked this product out or reviewed the company's science or reports. But the videos of Pat Boone and Mickey Rooney on their site are fun to watch. Especially Mickey's. Those commericals are dated which tells me they've been doing this for a while.
