Quandong as in Chinese phonetics for "Canton" as in the Cantonese province?

I handled a couple- all around decent, but definitely a two handed opening operation. (what that thing needs is a spring!) Not a real smooth opening, but tight, sharp, and pretty well done for a $50 knife. At the time I was comparing it to a Spyderco Chinese Lum, and walked away from it. Now in retrospect, I may pick one up for my son. Also, at the respective price ranges of the two knives, I screwed up by comparing apples and oranges.
