Anyone got any experience/thoughts on them? I saw them and seem interesting, USA made..

Most people here have poor opinion of Quartermaster Knives, as they are distantly related to Mantis Knives, a company of poor repute on Bladeforums.

They appear to be made in the USA knives with a "unique" style that you either like, or do not like.

The only knife they have that would appeal to me is the Murdock, as the rest are a bit too extreme looking.

Well I was mainly attractred to the Karambit, and the Largerr one(the Hannibal I think) I also saw they had a warren thomas design so I was thinking well maybe they ain't too bad... thanks for the info guys, thats why I ask. Appearing more like something to stay away from.

STAY AWAY! Seriously, Jared West from Mantis is involved with them, and you can't trust the guy at all. If you want a good laugh, search in the forums for some of the past discussions.

can't believe they would put Hannibal's name on that chunky tacticool wedge of a knife. he would never use something so unrefined.

he's a spyderco fan, in the books he buys a Civilian and a fully serrated Police model in addition to the Harpy. The guy's got class.

I'm sure all the believers in the "2 is 1 and 1 is 0" theory will enjoy having three thumbstuds, just in case ;)

I'd change distantly to closely from what I understand.

Maybe it's my pain meds, but....ROFLOL. Hil-freakin-larious! Three thumbstuds. How many flippers do their flippers have? (oh, just noticed it IS a flipper).

Well, they are different companies, but Jared West, who used to be the head honcho at Mantis, now runs Quartermaster. According to Mantis, he took some of their designs with him when he left, so I seriously doubt today that the companies are related at all. Gotta love the knife company drama, it would make a good reality show.
