I had the opportunity to examine this knife today. it has a button lock style lock. when it is locked, a pin enters through a groove in the blade. i was very impressed with this lock system. although the knife was cheap and poor quality, the lock was very interesting. do you know any other pocket knives that use this lock system? i am not asking about normal button lock pocket knives. i am asking specifically if there are those where the pin sees directly into the blade.

I don't know what the other side looks like, but superficially at least it appears similar to CRKT's Deadbolt lock.
You are quite right. I think it may have been inspired by the axial lock of the gt knives. WValtakis WValtakis Perhaps you could explain to us what the similarities are and what the differences are?

How does this compare to the old Press Button Knife Company switchblades?

There are a bunch of knives out there that use a framelock but have a secondary pin that screws directly into the blade if you want extra security (E.G. Maxace Sandstorm, Twosun TS346, Reate T1000).

Also, there's the Paragon Warlock. The locking mechanism works completely differently, but the operation of the knife is similar to the one in the OP in that you push the pivot to release the blade.

Yes I know. I have these types of knives in my collection and even opened a thread about it. Link is here . What impressed me is that the two pins automatically go into the slot. simple but practical and powerful.
