I just got my first Queen with D2 in the mail today. It has carved bone stag scales. The fit and finish is pretty good (the only thing I can see is the blade when opened curves a little to one side well it looks like the grind curves a little more on one side, and the back spring is on flush with the blade only by a small amount). I really like the looks of the knife. It has great walk and talk. I will need to reprofile the edge. I started working on it a little, but will need to put more time into it the get the rear of the blade thin like the front portion (razor sharp). It feels great in my hand, and I look forward to using the heck out of it. Thanks for taking the time to read my first impression of this knife.

Thanks,
John

Great looking knife John. I don't own one my self but, from what I have read, that is a quality knife. Good choice.

Thanks for the kind words. I got the edge where I want it, and that is some good steel.

Try to get your hands on one, they are nice.

Thanks,
John

I really want that knife. There has to be holiday coming up I can use as an excuse to buy it.

I have a 41 like that with stag instead of bone, and a CSB 41L, the linerlock version. Those are two of my very favorite knives, I carry and use them both all the time. Big enough to hold onto, small enough to carry without a thought. The 41L was the first really nice knife that I bought, and I have never regretted it or thought of trading it off. I swap and trade off some knives, these are keepers.

Thanks for all the kind words. I finally got the edge where I want it, and will get to try it out tonight. My sister is finished with high school so were going to have a little cook out. I will get to try it out with some food prep. This knife is becoming one of my favorite knives. The more I look at the knife, the more beauty I find.

Thanks,
John
