Hi,
I am seeking information about the single blade queen folding hunter #44. ( don't care about handle)I have searched several times and can't seem to find any comments.
I am especially interested in how this knife would compare to a Buck 110 which I love except that it is so gosh darn heavy. I honestly have more trouble with twisting a blade trying to pop off wood shavings and developing bladeplay than I do with the knife closing so the locking feature of the Buck however strong is no big advantage to me in this case.
Perhaps a large toothpick would be even better/lighter???
My end goal is to have a large general use folding knife for hiking/camping. I know it will be mostly a toy for mental and emotional happiness/secuirity but regardless, I want one. By the way I EDC a case barehead 31048 and whenever firebuilding woodwork is invloved I will always have my Wetterling hatchet with me.
I appreciate any comments as I just love the traditional aspect of both knives.
I don't post much but you guys really make for a interesting lunch break, and coffee break, and whenever I am feeling sneaky break.
