Queen ACBS Mini Toothpick...NICE!!

With all the talk about Queen's hit and miss QC, I just had to post pics of the Mini Toothpick I just received. Excellent quality and sharp out of the box.
D2 steel, 3 1/8" closed.



 
Very Nice!

I was just looking at those. Something very pleasing about a small toothpick and those bone covers are really something. I've started carrying my GEC 12 Toothpick in smooth white bone again lately. Its 4 inches but feels smaller. I wonder if that tiny toothpick feels even smaller than most 3 1/8 inch knives?
 
I've not so far found the F&F on their D2 with bone or wood scales to be at all defective. Far from it, this range is a real bargain. It's their more 'specialized' lines in carbon or the Schatt stainless that are the problem in my experience. This includes very recent releases... But quality looks and bargain go with the D2 range.

Ive been on a Queen benge as of late and prefer the ACSB to other covers they offer. The only thing i dont like is that the sheilds are glued. It normally doesnt bother me but ive recently had a couple shields fall out for no apparent reason. Definately not a deal breaker though. ill continue to buy Queens for many years to come as long as i keep getting the quality ive been getting. That tootpick looks mighty fine btw.

You just said you had a few shields fall out for no apparent reason. Guess what just happened to my new Mini Toothpick?
You got it.....shield fell out! No problem.....just glued it back in. :thumbup:
 
Whoa lol! Fortunately the shields have all come out in a place where they were easily found. I would assume getting a replacement sheild from queen is a possibility in the event im not able to find one.
