Thanks BARLOWgan09 !!! I wouldn't even think about letting either of those go Lol

That CC is an absolute beauty, Bob! Course I got this thing for buffalo too!:thumbup::cool:

It's a well made knife Perry. Better fit and finish than most Queen knives I've experienced recently.

Rick, what is the steel on that beautiful Railsplitter?

You too Bob, what's the steel on that gorgeous jigged bone Cripple Creek and elegant Robeson?

The CC is D2 steel. I think the Robeson is just 420HC. It wasn't stated anywhere when I picked it up, but based on the price point, that would be my guess. Queen used the 420 on lower priced knives.

Bob, those are a couple of splendid knives!:thumbup:
I think the Cripple Creek is especially attractive; the color and jigging of the handles is, to me, very reminiscent of Case's jigged chestnut bone that I've become very fond of.

Gorgeous knives all. I'm particularly attracted to the Cripple Creeks that I've been seeing over the last few days. What's the deal with those? I went to their website which is active but they haven't commissioned any knives for years. I'd love to get my hands on a bomber jack.

Here's a 2002 Gunboat in D2...took me awhile to get the edge I was after but it was well worth the wait:thumbup:
