This is a really neat one I thought I would share. It is a 1988 Queen canoe pattern, with jigged bone handles made by Bob Cargill from Cripple Creek, and the blade etching done by Jim Sargeant. This knife was a sample prototype submitted to the mayor's office in my home town, as a celebration for the town's bi-centennial. The board of directors for the town ended up taking to long to make up their minds, and when they wanted to order 2000 of these knives, it was too late to have them made before the deadline, so they had to go with a simple metal handled single blade knife made by Utica instead.

Very cool. Neat story too. Shame that they had to drag their feet like that. I'd imagine that this knife would have made a much better presentation at the festivities.
