I picked these two up recently in a FS thread. I didn't realize how big they were. 100 of each was made. Blades are 1095. Overall F&F was pretty good...but not great. There are a few minor issues but no show stoppers. There is a very slight wobble on both main blades and all blades are slightly off center when closed. There is also a very small gap between the backspring and the liner on one side. This is present on both knives.

On to the positive. I really like the handle slabs. The jigged antique green bone looks very nice in person..the pics don't do it any justice. The stag is well done also.....quite a bit thicker than the jigged bone slabs. Both blades have pronounced half-stops and the backsprings are strong.....almost too strong. The blades snap closed with an audible "thhhhwaap" I really like the long pull on the main blades.

Overall these are well made. I'm not sure about the size.....for me...they are just too big...maybe a good back pocket knife with one of those "Blues" back pocket sheaths.

Man I really like those... approx how old are they and are they still available new ? I really dig the nail pulls as well.

They came out in April of this year. They can still be had...Cumberland Knife Works has some as does Knivesshipfree. I'm sure there are other places as well.

That Greenbone looks really attractive, pity the knives are too massive for my pocket.I feel the same about Great Eastern's recent Harness Jack series, some really good scale choices there as well, but too bulky!

Those were mine, and I really like that model. Just needed to sell them. I agree that main clip blade is a great design, loved the look and the long pull too.

I have one of the Schatt&Morgan English Jacks that I like to carry. Like folks said, it's a bit bit for pocket carry so I made a sheath that clips onto my belt for it. I used a holster clip on the back, brought the leather about 2/3 of the way up the knife, and used a relatively heavy leather for the piece I molded over the top so it would hold the knife in place pretty well. I could see back pocket carry as being a good way to go with it too.
