I was looking at bdev's Queen City Half Congress. I'm not sure how I missed these before, but the Queen City Knives in jigged bone happen to have some pretty sweet jigging. I really like it better than the Amber Stag Bone on the Queen knives. Anyone have some other examples of their line?

There are multiple product lines called "Queen City." I only have one, and it's from the series with tight jigging, 1095 steel, and "QUEEN CITY" tang stamp. It looks like this one:

It's a very sturdy knife, excellent fit and finish, strong snap but not a nailbreaker. The handles are wonderful.

If it's a different series of Queen City knives you're asking about...

I posted a user pic in bdev's thread, but I'll add my 2 cents here, expanding on what I said earlier. It's a solid knife, well designed and executed. Mine isn't perfect (a warning to those who expect such things), but it is well beyond merely "acceptable." It exceeds my Case exemplars, and it actually turned me a little off GEC. It might not be as perfect as my HJ7, but it is definitely a knife with soul. I wanted a whittler, and it is perfect for that.

Here's another pic:

Great looking pattern, but the shield just throws me off.

Nope, that's what I'm interested in. I'm a sucker for jigging and that knife has good jigging.
