Howdy all,
I decided 'what the heck' and ordered a black delrin country cousin from queen in D2.

It came today and I have to say that I am fairly impressed. The fit and finish is nice, the blade was in good shape, and it had a great heft in the hand. I will so, however, that the blade edge was CRAPPY as usual. I am stopping off at my local knife shop tomorrow to have a better edge put on it.

Other than that, it's a really nice knife for 23.00 bucks.

Take care,
Brett

Just make sure your local knife shop doesn't use a power grinder to put the new edge on it. Hopefully they know what they are doing, but just because they sell knives does not guarantee that they know anything about them.

I have a number of Queen knives, and a fair percentage of them had obtuse edges. I reprofiled them by hand, and put a convex edge on some of them.

Hi,
Thanks for the advice. I have several queens that needed the edge worked on and Ken does a great job on them.

Again, thanks for the warning.

Brett
