I appoligize if someone has already covered this topic. But I am looking at getting a new folding hunter to use as game knife to replace an old Case. I saw that Queen now offers this knife in D2. I have several "tatical" ( I hate that word) folders in this steel and really like it. So my question is does anybody out there have any experiance with Queen folding hunters and if so how do they stack up against say Case or Scherade or others.

Thanks

The Queen is a very good brand.I have quite a few, both in Doctors and a couple pen knives. Don't know about Hunters but with D2 overall you cannot go wrong. Must get one of the new ones in D2.

I have a D2 large folding hunter, 2 blade, with cocobolo handle. It is a well made knife, good blade grinds, strong springs. The D2 holds a good edge.

I bought the hunter, single blade, bone handle.I love it walk and talk is most impressive and it is hair popping sharp.I would also like to add that it is as stainless as many of my stainless knives even though it is bordeline as far as cr goes.I liked it so much I bought the cocobolo stockman as well. the fit and finish on this knife is better that any of the case,or german eye brand kinves in my collection.I would advise any one who enjoys traditionals to get one.truly great workmship.
