Can anyone with some experience tell me what Queen Cultery's quality is like. I've been looking for a GEC #25 barlow with clip point blade and am having a hard time finding one. I did, however, find a Queen Cutlery barlow that looks just like the GEC and was wondering what Queen's quality is like compared to GEC.
THANKS!

I have a recent queen stockman and I will say that it is solid. The fit and finish is not up to GEC caliber by any means but for a user and for then price I am happy.

There is at least one, if not more, threads about this subject in the Traditional subforum. Might be useful for you to search around.

I've had a couple Queens from past years and they were a little spotty and generally a step below GEC. I have 7 2015 Queens and I would easily put them on the same level as GEC. I had two in the buffalo horn that had gaps that I wasn't happy with. If you're going with buffalo horn I'd have the dealer double check for gaps before shipping them to you if that bothers you. Some of the horn handles are great. I have two with the horn that are just spectacular. They are right at the top of my list of favorite slipjoints.

The main contrasts in my opinion are that GEC's pulls are a little stiffer than a similar model Queen and Queen is using D2 as opposed to GEC's 1095.
